I don't agree with this only because they are already trying to go in that direction and it results in goals that should count, but don't because of the attempt at a black/white standard.

In the crease + goalie contact = no goal. The Perry goal that was called back early in the season was an example of this and there have been others.

If you have a black/white standard. The players will learn it, they will know it, they won't question it, and they will adjust.

The officials wanted something else. Vegas with 6PP's in this game, of course, and DAllas only 2. Dallas carried the play most of the game and had advantage in play despite being shorthanded 12mins in game. One Dallas penalty was for Marchment giving a snowwash to Adin Hill. I can't remember the last time I've seen something like that called. Never touched him not even close, just the stop up shower. Ridiculous penalty. Vegas win only because they have endless PP's and two PP goals.
