Even after being told that based on points % they would be in 4th, they insisted that actual points are all that mattered. Okay, after tonight, these would be the current playoff first round matches.

Under the much more fairer 1-8 system that would apparently benefit the Leafs immensely, the first round matchups would be:

If the Oilers are in a WC battle by the end of the season, it's a fail. No reason that they shouldn't finish top 3 in the division.
