He will get the organised and playing structured hockey. The roster also lacks a Kopitar or Doughty to ride so he shouldn’t overplay veterans (you’d think).Good for Todd. Detroit is where he started his NHL coaching career.
His merits as a coach have been debated around here, it will be interesting to see if he's able to improve the Red Wings.
Detroit is currently 28th in the league and stuck in a cycle of losing. No where to go but up.
Decent guy, wish him well. I’d be interested in how long his deal is though but at least it means,,presumably, he’s off the LA books.
