Everywhere Laine goes he causes problems.

The very definition of a locker room cancer. As part of the problem he'd rather jump ship than be part of the solution. Like he's gonna win any more games in Montreal than he was in Columbus.

Rangers are in official tire fire status.

They're too good a team to be in the position they find themselves today. There must be a reason behind the shit mess they've become. I blame the GM.

Drury went to war with the players and they gave up on him.

If ever there was a team ripe for the pickings it's them. They have some good players who might be available at deadline this year. Would be nice to see the Leafs take advantage of a team in disarray by making a predatory trade of an older washed up vet for a younger player with upside.

It's too bad I expect the exact opposite to happen.

Shhhh... Many Habbers think Laine and his XBox will get them out of the basement. Give it time. He'll want out again eventually. What astounds me is Laine probably thought he'd win more games in Montreal than in Columbus.

Just noticed that Tampa has 4 games in hand on the Leafs and Panthers.
Don’t forget their best will also get a month off to recharge and recoupe. This exile of Russia is going to give Russians a competitive advantage in the NHL come June.. wait.. who plays goal for the Panthers and Lightning again?
