Has anyone checked the Leafs' record against non-playoff teams from November to April? I think most people remember losing to some of these teams in the middle of the usual slow October start, but I'd wager that the Leafs are pretty close to perfect against bad teams from November forward in each of the last few seasons.

In any event, this may be too little too late for Detroit. Eight points behind the last wildcard team with a lot of teams to jump over.

Edmonton Oilers have signed prospect Connor Clattenburg to a three-year, entry-level contract on Monday. Clattenburg was drafted 160th overall by the Oilers in the 2024 Draft in Las Vegas last June.
