Trying to deke the goaltender rarely works because most players can't stickhandle well enough or make the deke good enough. The goal scored was lucky to get by Berra. The deke that did work the Czech player missed the net.

Ice looked bad.. that 3 on 3 OT no one could control it. favors the goalies but I think both teams should've swapped to head fake and shot because the dekes weren't working.

Yeah, there are quite a few Canadiens in Europe, why shouldn't they cheer for Canada in a hockey game when they have the opportunity to do so?

Doesn't HC invite the players families to the tourny so that they can spend the x-mas holidays in Davos. Team Canada is/was quite popular among the swiss since the teams used to be mainly built with canadians playing in switzerland which led to many swiss cheering for team canada so I guess there are also many swiss wearing a canada jersey in the stands

I’ve been to the World Championships in Germany.

My parents worked with the Canadian embassy at the time and they arranged a bus for interested personnel to go there from Berlin.

I was visiting so I tagged along.

I’m sure there are plenty of similar situations, not to mention expatriates or family members of the team.
