Mcdavid & Draisaitl should 1st-5th in ross race by years end.Oilers getting their heads on straight?
You know what they say, the cream always rises to the top.Mcdavid & Draisaitl should 1st-5th in ross race by years end.
When you have that level of top offensive focus its hard not to be a good team barring disastourous goaltending
The top 5 will likely be McDavid, Kucherov, MacKinnon, Draisaitl and Ranti. Same old, same old.You know what they say, the cream always rises to the top.
You do realize that he was drafted by Nonis and traded away by Dubas, right?Pittsburgh’s lucky day.

He did not lift his skate off the ice so not sure how you classify that as a "kick". I believe you are now allowed to redirect the puck with your skate as long as it is not a "kicking" motion. The game needs more goals, not fewer. His skate was not stationery, so that was a kicking motion. Everyone with at least one leg, has played soccer and side kicked the ball.
I don't care about the Penguins but moving your foot into the puck is a kicking motion. His skating is still moving while the puck enters the net.
But if side kicks are permitted then it's a good goal.
Watch at the 47 second mark of the video. The follow through of the skate is clear. He did not lift his skate off the ice so not sure how you classify that as a "kick". I call it redirecting the puck more than kicking it but I see your point.Watch at the 47 second mark of the video. The follow through of the skate is clear.

Again, I don't care about either of those teams, just that I can see Jarry's point. The skate is moving side ways. Maybe hockey players can only kick in a forward motion, but they'd be underwhelming on the pitch.
