The wa

Boston look terrible right now and doesn't look anymore like past year bruins... They are actually one of worst defensive team after 4 game...

They are actually lucky to don't be 0-4 right now

They are 2nd on number of scoring chance allowed, 1st for high danger chance against...
I don’t want to say it too loud but I think they’ll struggle a lot this year.

They were pretty ordinary in the second half of last season. They basically lived off the hot start. No hot start this season.

They don't have a hot pipeline. Some decent prospects but nobody to really takeover

They have too many 3rd liners playing key roles

Such is the life of a team that has tried to win for several years. I can't fault them for that. They will certainly remain competitive, but they are no threat to win anything. Like Tampa, but without all of the Cup wins.

Unlike MLB on Apple, Amazon is smart enough to hire all those familiar TV personalities such as John Forslund.

I'll never like Messier but otherwise great

Watching the habs vs pens....... Crosby will have to carry that team on his back
Luckily they are playing Habs tonight

Pens are complete tirefire.
Sid going to ask for a trade. He's going to lose it
The problem is he’ll only want to be traded to TTOE.

Who was the lady on the intermission panel? She knows hockey.

Adnan is a good host.

I think Michkov will win the Calder.

Torts is giving him lots of ice time and has him on the power play. Considering Michkov was compared to Bedard their draft year it's not a huge stretch. But I also haven't seen much of the other candidates yet.

Unless you consider Wolf a possibility.

Not sure Calgary has the team to support him though. From what I've seen the Flames have been getting lucky. All the bounces have been going their way.

Even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.

Which is why it's surprising Bedard is the only Calder winner I've called in advance for like a decade. I would've guessed Matthews but I was under the impression Leafs fans couldn't have nice things. And if I did suggest Matthews he would've just shit the bed anyways.

Kinda like how I probably just cursed poor Michkov into mediocrity.

Wow.

Avs have given up 20 goals in 3 games so far. What is going on there?
Horrible goaltending. If there is one somewhat black mark on Sakic's tenure in recent years, it's that he hasn't found any steady goalies since Varlamov left. He's tried finding 1B types who have starter potential and they usually have one good year before flaming out or falling short in the playoffs. Grubauer, Georgiev are prime examples of this. Even Kuemper they paid a lot for and he wasn't particularly great, but just good enough for them to win - the team was absolutely stacked that year with everyone playing at their peak pretty much. I was pretty shocked that they didn't address the goaltending this summer.
