It's like he doesn't learn from his mistakes. He did so much damage in such a short space of time while being the Leafs GM, there was just no way he (or his successor) can recover in time.

Crosby, Malkin and Letang also all wanted to come back and have Sullivan as their coach. Dubas was told by FSG there would be no rebuild but his moves to retool around those 3 have been very questionable.

Crosby and Malkin only have a combined 20 goals this season and are a collective -37 as well. Pens top line is a combined -57!

Problem they have is promising Crosby there would be no full rebuild and he chose to go down with the ship by signing his 2 year deal that starts next season.

They have the worst GAA in the entire league with the third worst goal differential.

Next year that core will be 38, 39 and 38 years old.

Malkin and Letang look cooked and Crosby has already started to regress this season.

High risk, high reward! It would be an amazing series and, if we won, would feel sooo good.

Pretty unreal that we are 6th in the NHL standings and only 4 teams have better record than us in their last 10 yet they have us at 15

Inexplicably we are even 4 spots behind the 2-5-3 devils
