I'm still scratching my head over the Mike Babcock thing. I was pissed that he was hired, and somehow, I still feel sorry for the dude having this blow up before he even had a practice with the team.

In the end it doesn't really matter, the players wanted him gone and he honestly should never have been hired in the first place. I just feel bad for the players. They now get the guy that was passed over for Brad f'in Larson to lead them.

I still don't feel too bad for Mike. He put a lot of negative into the universe. In addition to adding positives to make up for it, sometimes you just gotta eat a shitload of negatives as well. I know. They taste better with ketchup.

I'm having a hard time feeling any sympathy for a bully. Darwin is a bitch sometimes.

I get it. I've never been a raw raw patriotic type or flag waiver. And I don't feel the need to tell vets I appreciate their service, even if I do.

But as I've gotten older and gained perspective on the rest of the world, while nowhere near perfect, my appreciation for this country has grown a lot, as has my appreciation for those like you that volunteered to protect what we (myself included) sometimes take for granted.

I don't particularly like the military appreciation nights. They can definitely be corny and staged. But at the same time it doesn't really bother me much. If other people like it and the vets involved feel a sense of appreciation, that's a good thing IMO. Especially with service rates dropping.

Contrast that with how the vets who didn't have a choice were treated after Vietnam and I'll take the over on the military appreciation nights every time. Though once a year is probably enough.

The jerseys are also trash quality. 100% not made to be played in.

Kid is quickly becoming a stud. I don't think you're far off on the point projection. He's got it in him.
Stutzle feasted on the Leafs today.

If he stays healthy I think he gets 100 pts this year.

Eh he got 90 last year so it's not exactly a hot take.
Meanwhile Kings are still waiting for Byfield to pan out

100 also ain’t what it was once. Tim is a stud tho

Karlsson trade was terribly bad for SJ

So AJ Greer sucks at fighting as well as hockey.

Glad we traded down to get him and avoided Aho

Just like how Kings made a mistake drafting Byfield instead of Stutzle, I think Ducks are gonna regret drafting Carlsson instead of Fantilli.

Say what you want about Avs bad drafting in later rounds, but at least they never screwed up top 5 picks

I got shredded when I said I think the German might be better than the french dude the Rangers took. So far im looking like a genius. My Kappo Kakko take however is aging like milk.

They drafted Byram over Seider. Huge mistake.

I mean first of all, other than Yzerman, probably no one else had Seider going 6th overall. He was projected to go somewhere mid first round, and secondly it’s not like we gotta bust in Byram. The dude was the best d-man on the ice in game 6 of the cup final, and he’s gonna be a stud. He just needs to stay healthy. No regrets here drafting Bo. And Seider had a sophomore slump

Nope, not all. I love Byram and I think he’s gonna be a legit top pair D. Seider is awesome and all, but Byram is no slouch

Seider is the most overrated player on our boards

Why is Byram a bad draft? And Seider did have somewhat a sophomore slump. Not a big one but he still scored few less points and wasn’t as good defensively as he was in his rookie season
Cozens, Zegras, Seider are all better picks at this point. Boldy probably as well
