You said the same thing about Vegas last year. And I'm not even talking about Kuemper's terrible playoff run for us.

They don't need a better goalie. Pavel f***ing Francouz swept the Oilers. Binnington won the cup.
In case you forgot, Adin Hill put up f***ing ridiculous numbers for Vegas. So their goalie still showed up.

The Avs team was the exception to the rule. The Kings are not the 2022 Avs. Very few Cup winners are.

Until the Kings get a real goalie, they will continue to be 1st round fodder.

I had to look it up and yah Adin Hill was a beast lol. I still cant believe the Avs lost only 4 games with the tandem of Kuemper and Francouz.

Even if kings get a goalie might still not be enough if kopitar/danault/doughty fall off a cliff or PLD gets looked at the wrong way

He might come into the league like Hughes.
I think he’ll put up better numbers than Hughes. Scoring is up but even with that factored in I think bedard is the better player.

But the hype is getting to be a bit much. I think a solid season for bedard would be 55-65 points. I don’t see him approaching ppg his first year but what do I know.

Still pisses me off that Aden Hill of all people took Vegas to a championship

The game a few years back where Donskoi had a hat trick in the first 5 minutes, we put 4 of 5 goals in on Aden Hill in the first 7 minutes of the game. I remember actually typing out "Give me Hunter Miska over this guy", and then he bounces around between a few more teams, only gets in meaningful games because their starter and backup are injured, and does that?

How

Cal Petersen is strange. I saw him play against us a few times and it was like a beer leaguer was in net. Now he's paid five million? Actual human money? Good work if you can get it.

Bedard has a great shot and should be able to use it on the PP.
