We are f***** if Drai gets that and McDavid leaves. What is Drai realistically by himself? Not close to the production he has been getting. With McDavid here, he will be worth it fully.

Drai has dispelled this alleged McD dependence several times in career and yet this stuff will persist as long as we have him. Just because DRai wasn't knocking it out against the two toughest opponents we've faced (Dallas, Minny) the games that McD missed he's back to being questioned.

The Flames are a different organization than the Oilers. Not more successful in terms of results but when you work for Murray Edwards you find out that no matter who you are there can be consequences when he is displeased. I have a few buddies who used to work for CNRL (past tense obviously) who will confirm that.

This is where Edwards is different than Katz. Murray isn't too nostalgic and for that matter isn't a huge sports fan. My guess is that the rookie coach has been told of Murray's viewpoints.
