Agreed. There is only 1 Bobby Orr. Add that his career was shortened through knee injuries in a time and era where the surgery practices and rehab work was essentially only one step up from applying leaches compared to modern times. Paul Coffey and Orr are two of my top five favourite players of all time. Makar is one of my top three current era favourites.Impressive but not as good as Bobby Orr who started in the NHL at 18 and by the age of 25 had racked up 6 Norris 2 Harts 2 Conn Smythe and an Art Ross which he won with 34 points better than his next nonTeamate 120-86 And was the leading scoring Dman 5 straight seasons Makar started his career at 21 in the regular season
Significant and really why I posted it is the Hall of Fame company that Makar finds himself in with this milestone. Suter is maybe the outlier within a very special small group.
