Those numskulls over at CP are so obsessed with us that they've even started a second Edmonton thread lol.... This.. even after the Oilers destroyed their team two years ago and started their downward spiral... they still love to talk smack
What else do those bums have? Can't look forward to their own team. Team is having fun though. That is a recipe for a Stanley Cup

I too would be bored if my dogshit team decided on announcing Backlund as captain.
Flame fans crawl out of their caves every season, and then crawl back to hide once the flames implode. Inbred f***tards they are.

Pittsburgh waived Ty Smith. I must confess to being very wrong on him. I followed Smith and Yamamoto in Spokane pretty closely in 2017-2018. I thought he would turn out to be a player especially after a decent start with the NJD's.

Is it on TV?
I just use my IPTV box. It even has AHL games on it lol. Has a channel for every AHL team and NHL team. Works most of the time. I think the game is on TNT. I have basic Telus with the sports package ( i should cancel it, but keep it if I PVR a game), but my box has thousands of channels. I pay $135 for a whole year

watching the Bedard highlites, I'm convinced he's small and shifty like Patrick Kane but with an Ovechkin shot

he's gonna be the next perennial Art Ross winner after McDavid decides he's done with individual trophies
I think in 4 years he’s going to dethrone Mcdavid as the best player in the game. He’s already built like MSL at 18 years old and like all elite talent has a high IQ amd work ethic. With the league moving towards a more skilled and less physical game we’re going to see more of these smaller players thrive.

The first thing I noticed with him is that he has insane hands. Like Patrick Kane.

His hockey IQ seems to be off the charts too.

I hate to say it but Bedard is so fun to watch that Chicago might become a 2nd favourite. Something fun to watch when the Oil aren't playing

Bedard's post game interview was...interesting. He was asked why he didn't look over at the bench in OT and stayed out there. He said he plays a lot of 3 on 3 in the summer and wants to be out there playing.

I'd be cutting that bullshit out right there if I was the coach. This isn't junior anymore. Preseason or not, superstar in the making or not, the entitlement is a bit much if that's his attitude (and he gave a serious answer).

I did notice he had a penchant to take long ass shifts that game. Maybe Richardson is enabling it who knows. But that comment did come off as entitled

Holloway is flying tonight. Like the overall effort as well. The new defensive system is really showing well, imo.

It’s actually the old defensive system he ran after Tippett was fired. Then for some inexplicable reason he went back to Tippetts system last year. Thankfully he’s back to what worked.

Eitherway they look good, limiting the opportunities.

Campbell is playing very well. Looks very poised and strong.

I’ve been calling him kane with Matthews shot for over a year now. He’s really good

Why has edmonton not had a god damn draft in the new building yet? F*** Vegas
Edmonton won't ever get one because it's not a marquee location for Bettman. Next year it'll be in an Eastern city with a team either having a solid fanbase and a high draft pick, like possibly Philly or where he needs to grow the game.

That f***ing moron is looking at Atlanta AGAIN as a destination for expansion. Like holy f***, the first two franchises failed. Insanity, doing the same thing over, expect different results, etc.

Apparently LA is rumoured to be getting the 2025 draft.
