It did worked bc they are putting up for sale and have Deadpool showing interests

Depends on if that front office keeps their jobs next season though.

I'd guess new owners get new coach + GM + President and promise fans a rebuild strategy something similar to what happened between the Burke/Noni's to Shanahan transition here

Pretty much. Once new ownership gets the President and the rest will follows.

If your argument is that from August 1st, 2020 to June 25th, 2021, they were a decent team with very good goaltending, there's at least an argument to be made.
Unfortunately, after that point, they haven't been very good.
I have not idea how you got that from my post.

Then again I generally have no idea where you get most of your ideas.

Did you miss Campbell's .959 SV% in November 2021?

Wonder if Dubas could end up as the Senators GM. Wasn't he a huge Senators fan growing up?

That's when everything you were talking about happened. August 1st, 2020 to June 25th, 2021.
Unfortunately, we're a year a half later, and the Isles haven't been very good since.

No, I didn't. I also didn't miss the Leafs playing at a 114 point pace through the following 5 months while getting 0.892 SV%/-45 GSAx goaltending.

Yes. You referenced the 2020 playoffs, which started August 1st, 2020, and the 2021 playoffs, which ended for the Islanders on June 25th, 2021. See post #1219.
Unfortunately, the rest of us are talking about the year and a half since then, when they haven't been very good and missed the playoffs.

So with your precise dates you’ve omitted Jack Campbell’s best month in November 2021. Ok.

What are you even talking about? I didn't omit anything.

If you're talking about the August 1st, 2020 to June 25th, 2021 timeframe being referenced, that wasn't even talking about the Leafs, and I'm not the one who brought it up.
If you're talking about the Leafs through the 5 months following November, that was a response to YOU weirdly bringing up the one month we got good goaltending, to show you that we weren't carried by goaltending. I was showing you that we continued on a 114 point pace with mind-numbingly horrific goaltending.

What does Campbell's November 2021 have to do with anything being discussed anyway? Why did you omit everything except for one month?
If you want to look at the whole season, then okay, we had 115 points with bad -21 GSAx goaltending.

Craziest thing about watching the Devils last night is that they don't have a good goalie, and their top prospect (top D prospect in the world) will join the team on an ELC next year lol.

Like man, how did we fall so far behind so quickly?

One measly late game tonight …might go watch some HS football playoffs if there’s one close enough.

So Leafs are okay? :sarcasm:

I mean, we are second in our division, and tied for 5th in the league for points, while having goalie injury issues, and Matthews hasn't figured out how to shoot the puck yet 5v5. We've been okay... just okay so far... I think plenty to figure out, but so do many other teams this year.

NYR aren't in shambles.... they've been doing... just ok too.

As Leaf fans we aren't that lucky.
Never say never. Would be nice to trade Holl, Kerfoot and Keefe to the Sens to get a few picks.

Did they lose to Yokes, Ducks, Habs and Sharks?
