Fred was never THE problem, but he certainly was part of the issue as a whole. It was rarely the quantity of goals he let in that bothered me, but the way he let them in and the timing of them. Felt all too often there was a real softy or a backbreaker at a terrible time.

I don't think anyone can truly question his quality as a goalie, but he also wasn't without warts.

No he didn’t, we didn’t have any sort of defensive strategy for limiting random 3rd liners taking harmless unscreened shots from the corner. Every good defensive team knows to give up the slot to prevent those, how is a goalie supposed to stop them?

I mean a media blitz by fans, and it seems like the movement would already have allies in New York.

But it can just be "we want justice" it has to show examples with evidence.

Depends what you mean by issue.

He's not s goalie you can lean on to win/steal games, but can look fine with a strong defense. Imo he's more of a 1B type than anything

Take their entire damn scouting department as well. Motherf***ers always picking players I like at the draft and I can't cheer for another team, especially when they're in the East.
