Except for the DOPS I really don't believe the refs are against the Leafs.

I just believe they are incompetent in general.

I think certain refs are biased against the Leafs, or at least certain guys on the Leafs.

Or they are biased in favour of the other teams' guys. Same result either way.

Islanders though... They are getting shafted hard by the refs. Carolina would have been lucky to be 1-1 without the help of the refs, if not in an 0-2 hole. Pulock got called for a phantom slash which gave the Canes their game winning PP in Game 1. Then while all of the penalties against the Islanders in Game 2 were penalties, they missed a bunch on Carolina which could have at least helped the Islanders kill clock (their PP sucks so I wouldn't expect too many goals).

Agreed. When you can consistently put up more numbers than the line you matchup against it usually will benefit the team.
