Wow who could’ve seen this coming? I for one am shocked that a star player who was injured the entire second half of the season miraculously recovered in time for the start of the playoffs.

Those talking heads must have really been going on about this all season!

Oh wait you barely f***ing heard about it.

Rumour is that he wanted to fire Sutter in February but ownership wouldn’t let him..

As long as the flames owners refuse to rebuild, they’re in trouble.

Trevling did well given the position he was in to buld a winner every year

They have some decisions to make this summer on players with 1 year left on their deals. Toffoli, Lindholm, Backlund, and Hanifin (Tanev and Zadorov to a lesser extent).

They don't even need to go full rebuild. You can flip some of those players for decent returns and still be ok, especially with Coronato, Pelletier, and Wolf up full time next year (maybe Zary?)

Doubt the owners will go with that route, though.

They really needed to lean into the departures and use this year to retool or rebuild. It was a huge mistake to choose the path they did

Swayman and Ullmark are fine apparently. We'll see about Bergy.

Bruins will take this one with or without him imo.

Don't really care who wins the Isles-Canes series. Though I'd expect the Canes to finish it in less than 7. Isles will need to win there goaltending dual by a lot to have a chance

Yup.

Boston vs Florida is the game I am looking forward to. Bunch of bruins have the runs…. They are literally #%^^ing their pants before playing the Panthers.

Florida looking dangerous. If not for the two early Bos PP'S I would say Florida has the early upperhand

That’s because they were too busy critiquing Toronto goalies for knocking the net off 4 or 5 times over the course of 82 games.
