Yeah, Campbell seems completely broken at this point.

Ironically enough, I thought Campbell was/is just like Reimer. Super nice guys who get completely down on themselves and their game if things spiral out of control.

He's a 1B that needs a tandem to be successful. Isn't stable enough to be reliable.

He went out and sought a starter contract this summer - which I understand, sets him and family financially up for life - but he's got to take the criticism on the chin now.

Reimer is a good comparison actually. Booth guys who are best when there's another goalie to take the pressure off when their cold streak hits

Hes a 1B and failing miserably now.

Its an awful situation, but i really dont think he has the confidence to play a meaningful NHL role. The lows are too low, hes a great fit to be McElhinney but took the starter contract and that could end his career.

Some guys to have their careers shorten quite rapidly as they passed 30. Ideally he can pull things together because he seems like a nice guy. But that's an awful looking contract for the Oilers

I'm sure the 25M will help him get over it

He plays like this he's not even a backup next season, he's out of the league so if i was him I'd be doing a happy dance the Oilers paid him last off-season

Malgin getting pumped up on the mainboards.

That makes Malgin, Marchment, Hyman, Engvall, Sandin we have to hear about everytime they get a point. Am I missing anyone?

Denis Malgin and his dizzying 21 goal scoring pace. What ever will we do with him?

In retrospect Malgin would have been viable on a Lafferty-Acciari-Malgin 4th line knowing we have a legit shutdown line ahead of them with O’Rielly.

Truly incredible. Can't wait until he gets the all time record.
When Ovechkin signed his 5 year deal before the start of last season he was 164 goals behind Gretzky's 894. Ovechkin was at 730 career goals.

Lots of people said he had to really cut into that 164 during his first 2-3 seasons as he would be 39 years old going into year 4 of his deal and 40 years old in the final year.

So far he has done just that by scoring 50 last season and 40 this season. That is 90 goals of the 164 which leaves him with 74 goals to score over the last 3 years of his contract and what's left of this season.

75 goals to break the record and hit 895.

As long as he can skate to the Offensive End of the ice he'll put up those goals.

Occasionally, he might help out elsewhere.
