Probably saw people saying Matthews was on his level because he's a 60 goal guy in 73 games and went out and literally 1 upped him by scoring 60 in 72 games. Sad thing is people will try and discredit his goal scoring with his PP numbers.

Ottawa has some great players on their squad. Batherson, Stutzle, Giroux, etc. I wish we had Brady Tkachuk on our top 6, he’s exactly what we’re missing. A gritty, talented, hard nosed, tough , point per game left winger. He’s already a 30-35 goal scorer this early in his career, and I believe that in a career year, he can score 50.

But they do have some talent and I think they are trending in the right direction.

Tampa seems like they're just waiting for the playoffs. Can't sleep on them, they'll turn it on when needed and even if they struggle Vasi is still in net.

Man, the Eastern teams are really trying to back into a playoff spot like a drunk stumbling into his house. All of Pittsburgh, Florida, Buffalo, Ottawa, Detroit and Washington have been absolutely pathetic down the stretch. The Islanders were also looking putrid until they managed to put together a run and they also have Sorokin who is an MVP goalie carrying them.

The Islanders would be a good matchup, Sorokin may give them some issue and the Islanders will probably clutch and grab a lot and play them hard. Still expect Boston to run through them but definitely more wear and tear vs playing Pittsburgh or Florida even.

Tampa seems to be struggling mightily, yes, not sure what it means once the final buzzer goes after game 82. Still a very very dangerous team.
