Yeah but they really should have done something at the deadline to replace Pacioretty. Losing Svech would've been a huge blow either way, but at least they could've had another top 6 winger as insurance.

Unless Poolparty turns into Selanne, they're probably screwed

Could they have an easier schedule? Sheesh,...

Been that way most of the year. A week ago I got looking at how few non-wild card or lower teams they played over a long stretch…..pretty staggering.

Almost mind boggling they can have that schedule, that conference, 4 players flirt with 100 points yet fight all year for a wild card. People will say it’s all goaltending but have a peek at how many categories where they are bottom half to bottom third.

There’s actually a very high likelihood that in one round or another they get swept, yet they could just as easily make the final.

A ton of low quality muffins from the perimeter, though. Seemed like the Coyotes had more quality chances. Flames did get robbed twice by Ingram in the dying seconds of regulation

Coyotes are 11-5-6 in their last 22 games. And man, do they love Mullet Arena; 18-11-3 at home. That's not how you tank

Lol not quite the same, but i traded for Gustavsson at our deadline, guy rocked two straight shutouts for me then let in 5 vs. Arizona on Sunday. I benched him but it's still funny luck that he's probably going to get scolded by Evason and won't play as much despite being the second best goalie at worst since November.
