I know. Like I said in another thread, I don’t think we will ever see a Leafs team as talented as this current team.

We really need to enjoy this team.

Funny thing is, I was playing with CapFriendly. The Leafs is realistically capable of resigning ROR, Acciari and Bunting with the money left from Holl, Muzzin, Kerfoot and Engvall.

Hahahaha....I have done the same. @4thline and @Morgs showed me how easily doable it is......the Leafs could even sign ROR for $5.5 - $6 million over many seasons.

The Leafs are building for today and the future. This is Dubas' strength.

And that’s all is possible bc he got the McCabe trade. McCabe is pretty Muzz and he is 3.25mil cheaper while also the team doesnt need to overpaid to keep Holl or find a replacement. Holl is now free to walk bc Timmins can fill his spot for 850k cheaper.

Yup. But even with a 40,000 foot view, for this season (and the next two), McCabe is making exactly what Holl has been making for the past 4 seasons.

$6.7 million next year for McCabe, Sandin, Liljegren, Giordano, and Timmins.
