GDT: Around the League - 2021/22 - Playoffs edition

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Yeah he has been very good. Wish we kept him. Honestly never expected him to be anywhere near this impactful though. Hopefully the guys we have now have a similar impact

Gotta give to get in the league.

I do think the Leafs and Kings might be good trading partners in the near future though.
 
Minnesota cannot get anything on net right now... like, nothing even close. 3 minutes to go and they are in trouble. Would be a monumental effort by them to win a game 6 in STL.

Regardless, the winner only gets to get smoked by COL.

Rule 47 – Head-butting
47.1 Head-butting – The act of head-butting involves a player making intentional contact, or attempting to make contact, with an opponent by leading with his head and/or helmet.
47.2 Double-minor Penalty - A double-minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who attempts to head-butt an opponent.
47.3 Major Penalty - A major penalty shall be imposed on a player who head-butts an opponent (see 47.5).
47.4 Match Penalty - A match penalty shall be imposed on a player who injures an opponent as a result of a head-butt.
47.5 Game Misconduct Penalty – When a major penalty is assessed under this rule, a game misconduct penalty must be imposed.
47.6 Fines and Suspensions – Refer to Rule 23.6 – Fines and Suspensions – Physical Fouls Category.

There are no specified fines or suspensions for head-butting, however, supplementary discipline can be applied by the Commissioner at his discretion (refer to Rule 28).

Oilers fans are going to chirp us to the day they die. They have to make sure everyone remembers that Connor McDavid plays for them and that it's a federal crime to suggest than any other player in existence is even close to being as good as him at any aspect of the game.
 
Anyone else look at that muzzin trade and wonder what if? Don’t get me wrong I love muzz but durzi (especially) and grundstrom have been keys to LA. Not too mention Moore, but that’s a Different argument completely.

I feel like the LA trades have more or less been win-win. It's nice seeing them have success, hoping the Kings can go deep with them. Would definitely bring some of these guys back if there was a fit.
