GDT: Around the League - 2021/22 - Playoffs edition

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. thats the curse of being in Toronto, the Hockey Center!, trade your good player low because your fan bashing and scapegoat him. Happene to Kardri, will come to Nylander soon!

Happy for Kadri.

One of the few guys who really wanted to play for the Leafs and took a team friendly contract that the Avs are benefiting from.

Almost makes you think that it's important to have players that want to play for you and take team friendly deals like both the Avalanche and the Lightning.

Correction: Players who can play and wants to play for the Leafs
Simmonds also wants to play for the Leafs. He really shouldn't though

Good point. I meant players in their prime. Not players who are looking for a nice place to retire.
 
Man I wish Kadri was still on the leafs

I think he'd have broken out with us to a 70+ pt player as well If we played him as 1LW or 2LW with AM or JT or had him and Nylander be the 2nd line and JT be a winger on line 1.

Happy for his success and he'll get a nasty deal for sure.

Great player whose had a great career despite it being at times difficult

It's almost like we want to lose and be humiliated

2nd year.

He played the entire playoffs in 2020 and had a great run

People blame him for the game 7 errors but he played great the whole run and had a good series. He messed up in game 7 sure but overall was great and they did have Hutchinson in net for them.

Got suspended like an idiot in 2021 VA the blues

Came back and has been amazing in 2022 for the Avs
