See that play at the blue line? Second effort after losing the stick

That.. that's what the Leafs are missing. That second effort

It's funny how even people here were saying how great McDavid is when he got to play teams that missed the playoffs last year.

The Pacific had a combined 0 playoff wins this year among the playoff teams.

Against Colorado, I barely noticed him. That first goal he scored tonight was an easy save too.

On their path to the finals Colorado has played:

Nasvhille without Saros
St. Louis without Binnington
Edmonton

I mean, you play who you get so it's not on them, but this is one the weakest paths to the finals in quite some time. Not a single high end team

Everyone was having an orgasm over McDavid, Drai and hyman during the Calgary series. Markstom was absolutely abysmal in that series. Calgary defence was non existent.

Now they face a real team and they are down 3-0
And about to be swept.

Mcdavid has been McDavid. He can't play the entire game. Avs did a great job taking his space away.

Draitsyl is clearly injured. Woodcroft in all his glory put kassian with McDavid. I mean come on

I mean if you're going to pile on our stars for not scoring on Vasi... imagine if we got to play an Avs team missing Girard, Kuemper and Kadri and getting swept. We'd never hear the end of it.

They have Pavel Francouz in net FFS, giving up softies

I didn't pile on our stars for not scoring on vasi

I piled on our stars for not scoring on vasi, Price and kurpisalo

But sure let's take comfort in blaming other star players who however made it to conference finals

Mcdavid single handily took his team to conference finals. Even if he has sucked this series only by his standards

McDavid carried his team for most of the playoffs despite the swiss cheese D and Smith giving up goals from another time zone. He didn't choose his opponents, but at least he took advantage (unlike some teams/players)

Now he is facing a vastly superior Avs team. He can't do it on his own

He played 2 teams who missed the playoffs.

All that did was ruin their draft pick and embarrass them when they had to play a playoff team.

Oilers playoffs:

Play an LA Kings team without Doughty(#1D) and Arvidsson (#1LW)
Play a Calgary Flames team without Tanev (#1), Markstrom with an ~850 save %
Play a Colorado team missing Kadri (#2C), Kuemper (#1G), Girard (#2D)
