Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Winning the deadline doesn't really matter though. The proof is in playoff success to which the Leafs have no leg to stand on.
That being said Boston's cup win was nearly 10 years ago, and their aging star line will only carry them for so much longer.
And that’s what it’s all about. We have no leg to stand on. Especially when it comes to Boston; we’re their early 2000s Sens.
We’ve been getting crapped on for years and this year is probably the least optimistic I’ve been since this core came into place. Maybe having low expectations will translate to unexpected success.
And I as I type that, Montreal scores.

There's a reason why I carry myself humbly about the Leafs and don't shit talk. The post-lockout era has been grim and just when things seemed to be turning a corner, they find a way to lose.
You’re more disciplined than me man. Unfortunately, I’m too much of a hot head.
There isn’t a fanbase more deserving of a winning team than us. We’ve all been through the worst this sport can offer I feel. We deserve better and maybe this year this team can justify that dedication. Not gonna hold my breath with this goalie tandem we have though.

There are fans who deserve a winning team more than us. In fact I’d argue half the league does. Our fan base is a cesspool of overly loud dummies who have not a clue about hockey yet thump their chests loudly about being the Hockey Mecca.
I hate that I love the Leafs, I’d rather be a fan of a small market team, one who is humble enough to believe they don’t ‘deserve’ anything but believe in the process that’ll get them there.

Pretty typical season .. Leafs get up on Boston, but Boston holds games in hand. Boston catches up by winning their games in hand and eventually passes the Leafs.

Montreal's like 9-3-2 after their coaching change... the have a long way to rebuild but they did well at the deadline and just may be showing signs of being competently managed/coached
