Montreal winning the Cup is the worst case scenario now.I enjoy watching things burn....so I kind of do lol

Hell no it isn't.Montreal winning the Cup is the worst case scenario now.
I don’t think you realize how insufferable Montreal fans would be if they won. And there’s lots of them.Hell no it isn't.
Tampa pulling the ultimate embarrassment twice in three years would provide excellent hilarity.
Montreal winning is a small price to pay for that.
Montreal winning the Cup is the worst case scenario now.
They're insufferable already.I don’t think you realize how insufferable Montreal fans would be if they won. And there’s lots of them.
Tampa winning is the lesser of two evils here. They're insufferable already.
In fact every fanbase is insufferable. And many are towards us after we got swept.
I'm simply here for schadenfruede and Tampa gagging on the biggest stage would be absolute peak comedy.
I don’t think you realize how insufferable Montreal fans would be if they won. And there’s lots of them.
I’ll grudgingly accept a cheater winning back to back Cups because their fanbase is nowhere near as annoying or ubiquitous.
You’d hear about it everywhere. TV, radio, news, internet. People you never even knew were Habs fans will text you out of nowhere. People you haven’t talked to in years will call you to gloat.Meh, as long as they stay off of our board I don't care. I rarely venture to the main cesspool.
Would agree, Montreal just hasn’t been relevant in forever, but that fanbase can be worse then TO, want no part in them winning a cup to hang over everyone’s head for the next decade +Tampa winning is the lesser of two evils here.
Not to mention all the annoying “first Canadian team to win since 93, only Canadian team to win since 90” headlines and the “what did Montreal get right that other Canadian teams didn’t” analyses that would pop up everywhere.Would agree, Montreal just hasn’t been relevant in forever, but that fanbase can be worse then TO, want no part in them winning a cup to hang over everyone’s head for the next decade +
The most irritating thing about being an Oilers fan is being an Oilers fan. Nothing that happens with the other teams would compare to the pain of having to live with this crappy franchise that can't even string 2 playoff wins together with the best duo of players in probably any sport. Not to mention all the annoying “first Canadian team to win since 93, only Canadian team to win since 90” headlines and the “what did Montreal get right that other Canadian teams didn’t” analyses that would pop up everywhere.
It’d be an incredibly irritating number of years to be a hockey and Oilers fan. I repeat, it is not worth denying Tampa another Cup for that. Yes, Tampa are cheaters, but their fans aren’t everywhere and the coverage would end after the summer and you wouldn’t have to hear about it for a decade after.
Just talking specifically about Montreal vs Tampa. The most irritating thing about being an Oilers fan is being an Oilers fan. Nothing that happens with the other teams would compare to the pain of having to live with this crappy franchise that can't even string 2 playoff wins together with the best duo of players in probably any sport.

I mean no matter who wins it's still not us at the end of the day. I want to see the league burn personally so I hope Montreal does the unthinkable.Just talking specifically about Montreal vs Tampa.

To me Montreal is clearly the worst case scenario here.I mean no matter who wins it's still not us at the end of the day. I want to see the league burn personally so I hope Montreal does the unthinkable.
Yeah, curse being born into an Edmonton sports family.womp womp
your sporting life sounds like hell

Still not worth it.I'm listening.......
They would have to emphasize that they came back from 3-1 to best the leafs. That cannot be lost.
Toronto fans are probably mostly relieved now. But a reverse sweep, that could be bothersome.
Because it’s funny as hell. The off-season won’t be funny. Or probably all that interesting. How are people seriously cheering for a reverse sweep? Get to the offseason already.
