My goodness they are just brutal. And although I think he will still rebound and be very good, Rasmus Dahlin has been an absolute disaster on D. My goodness his defense this year has been a must see for horrible reasons. LOL. I'm a big fan of Eichel's too, he's probably facepalming every game he's not playing. This is only Krueger's second year do they can him already? Sheesh what a sh**show this organization has been for the past 10 going on 11 years.

Yeah, what’s up with Dahlin?

We're right where we thought we should be at the beginning of the season, ahead of the other 3, not all that far out of it. The surprise is that Minny's done so well and St. Louis is the vulnerable team, look at the how many games the blues have left against LVK, COL, and MIN.

I don't care for Minny one bit, but I am intrigued about the possibility of seeing a Kaprizov - Rossi - Fiala line next season. That could be fun to watch.

Am I the only one who thinks Grubauer is overrated?

He didn’t seem to have to be spectacular against the Kings. Plays on a team that allows what, 18 shots against a game.

Has he actually had to steal games for them this year?

He's watching the puck instead of taking the body. Bjornfot did that same thing last game against Kadri and got walked. It feels like Dahlin has been in the league a long time, but here's a list of players older than Dahlin: Kale Clague, Mikey Anderson, Cole Hults, Samuel Fagemo, Gabriel Vilardi, Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Rasmus Kupari, Akil Thomas, and Tyler Madden.

For sure, it's almost identical. I would just expect that this kind of play might be excised from his game by now, being a 1OA in his third year. And he had that whiff on Oshie, too. idk maybe Buffalo is just cursed. Or, more likely, does not have the right leadership group in place.

By comparison, the Kings have won two cups, started a rebuild, and are now on the upswing during a time period where Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs once. f***ing yikes.

Buffalo is like a bad movie.

But sometimes a movie is so bad and so inept, that it actually becomes interesting and entertaining for how fascinatedly pathetic it is. Comedic even.

That's what the Sabres are to me. They're so bad, they're interesting. They're 'The Room' of the NHL.

i don't want to make too much of it but it's one of those things that i think matt roy does so well, in those one-on-one situations he's buried in your chest, he rarely gets walked like that. it's that old school fundamental D i love

Perhaps Buffalo should take next season off to regroup. We've already been playing with 31 franchises. Pull a Marshawn Lynch and get their heads straight for 2022-23.

Only a matter of time before an NHL player gets killed from getting hit in the face/head by a puck.

what can you do? guys don't even want to wear visors.. half the kids wear em turned all the way up to their helmet to get it out of their eyes. wearing cages will shift the problem to concussions cause guys will start hitting like NFL free safeties. shoulder caps are bad enough.

i'm not gonna act like i have a solution beyond sending everyone out there wearing altyns, but it's an inherent, known risk..

I know how it feels to wear a full shield verse open. It doesn't feel "right". You can't feel the air on you as well, your senses feel off.

But it doesn't matter.

You just make full cages and ear protectors the rule. That's if you care about safety.

When pucks were getting designed 50 years ago, they could have never imagined that players would have composite sticks with curves and could shoot the things 100 miles an hour. The puck isn't designed for today's game. It's quite dangerous.

Ducks score 4 on Colorado in the first period. And McD got our only goal.....oof.
Colorado with 6 so far
Ducks know how to tank
Edit
4-2 lead turned into a 4-8 losses
That’s talent
