That's the pick that has hurt the Kings the most.

Yep, that's one of those moves that sets a franchise back a few years. Seeing how the Islanders have not missed a beat since losing Tavares and having Barzal fill his shoes shows just how good of a player he is, and he's only 22 and still showing improvement as well-rounded, playmaking two-way center.

Totally agree. But didn't Richards getting caught in the border the same summer? Those 2 incidents shut the window and DL became desperate.

Add in really poor drafting, and moving whatever high picks we had in desperation, started the downhill fall. By the end of 2016, we had nothing left.

There were 3 or 4 guys there we could've taken that would've had an impact on the team. We also traded away our 2nd pick a few years later in Cernak who looks to be a pretty good defender for Tampa. The only guy I think left from the 2015 draft is Wagner.

hahahaha that's so pathetic

tries to start the fight in the corner after the goal too

poor wittle baby didn't get his sweep boo hoo

DeBrinkat would've been in his right to slash him back in the corner, but of course he'd have been fined and suspended for starting an altercation or whatever. That slash was boarderline intent to injure. Guys have been suspended for that.

Avs lighting the Yotes up.

Yotes aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They have no true number one center and while they have some good young players have no game breaker. Kessel is a shell of his former self and if they don't sign Hall gave up a lot for nothing sheesh.

Another game where they look like they don't belong. They are by far the worst of all the playoff team.
