Which has been a problem with them for years, he's had a pretty busy revolving door of wingers. Very early on, Recchi was good with him but since then, it's been a parade or 'shoullda ' beens, like SHeary and DUpuis. Rust is good but a bit sporadic. I'd say Kunitz was probabliy his best winger. Jake Guentzel seems to be a good fit. But you'd think given his pedigree, they'd have taken care of that years ago.

Is it really all that surprising though? He used to do a lot of the same **** when he was with us all those years ago.

There's a reason he's sometimes referred to as Jack "Minus Forever" Johnson.

Watching EDM/CHI, a few observations:

• Each looks like he’s the real deal. I was surprised when Chicago picked him at #3, but it looks like they knew what they were getting.
• Neither of these two teams are going to win another series this year. They’re lucky they’re playing each other.
  
• Outside of 29 & 97, EDM doesn’t have much.
  
• God, I hope neither of these teams win the lottery, but really don’t want the Oilers to get LAF.

Funny, I don’t want The Hawks to get Laughy, they will actually win some stuff with him.

The Oil picked the 1OA 4 times in 6 years, and their off years were Draisaitl and Nurse ...

... yeah, Oil is where talent goes to wither.

Listed the teams down in the series unless tied. Of these, I would be okay with Florida, Columbus, Winnipeg, and Minnesota winning the first overall pick. I would really hate to see Pittsburgh, New York, Toronto, and Edmonton win. I’m not happy with Nashville and Vancouver winning, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
