Another goal by Kaliyev, this time on the powerplay. He has easily been the most dominant skater on the ice today.

The guy just scores goals. His shot placement is fantastic. How do you want it? Top shelf one-time rocket or along the ice where the holes are?

The other thing I noticed about him is his size and how he uses it. He looks so much broader than everyone else. And he was one of the youngest drafted last year.

Finland definitely took their foot off the pedal when they went up 7-0. Akil Thomas looked just OK, saw him win some board battles and he picked up an assist. He did seem to flub the puck a lot though. Really looking forward to the US game coming up in a half hour.

Bjornfot was skating circles in the Ozone, but lost the puck leading to a 2 on 1 goal by USA. Couldn't tell if it was a missed pass or he was ridden off of the puck

I think that is Broberg, the Oilers 8th overall pick. He has looked rough out there.

Yeah thats him. Just found it too. He had that bad turnover for that Robertson goal.

Well that was a fun game.

Kaliyev picked up 2 goals and a primary assist, playing a major role in all 3 goals scored in the first two periods.
Turcotte was always around the puck when he was on the ice, but didn't pick up any points.
Bjornfot had some good chances and showed off his skating, but also had a rough turnover leading to an oddman rush goal against.
Fagemo had a couple of chances, but was on the quieter side(although all of team Sweden seemed to be fairly quiet offensively).

Kaliyev's shot and hands are ready but his skating could use some refinement and he will obviously get stronger. He has a ton of potential...
