i'm all fine with low scoring games as long as both teams are actively trying to score and create chances. not with one team sitting back and waiting trying to win a game 2-1. people will say thats playing good defense. to me the best defense is a good offense. press the other team try and score more then 2 goals. yeah you will give up chances the other way but unless i have $$$ invested in the team and their well being i want my time and money to be entertained. just imo again i'm sure a lot will think differently

Good trade for both teams. Pittsburgh makes some space, Buffalo gets some sorely needed depth.

Does Buffalo make a jump next year. Adding Mittelstadt and Dahlin, even if young, is a major influx of talent.

they were bottom 3 in goals allowed/game and I believe bottom 8 or 9 in shots allowed/game

not sure if strictly adding an 18 year old Dahlin fixes that problem, at least not yet

Ristolainen is bad. If they can find a sucker to take him, that'd improve their chances.

They might buy out Hunwick, I don't see a compelling reason for him to be on their roster.

Dahlin seemed to play RD in the handful of games I watched, so perhaps that's an option.

I'm happy Shero didn't trade Sheary and Hunwick to the Devils. No more soft and streaky ex-penguins. Bennett was enough for me. I think Shero can use our cap space better than that.
