They certainly have a unique makeup that's for sure. Their goaltending is atrocious. I'm actually insulted that people compare the Wild to the Kings. Plus I think Chuck Fletcher is an overrated as hell GM.
We should be. It's a terrible comparison in every way possible.
Fletcher is extremely overrated, the same problems that the Pens have are present and magnified in the Wild.
Two main key guys on huge contracts? Check. But Parise and Suter aint Crosby, and Malkin.
Questionable goaltending at every level? Yep. Fleury is remarkably better than any of Harding, Keumper, and Backstrom.
Remaining roster made up of cast-offs, and spare part players? Very much so. Excepr Zucker, Nino, Koivu, Brodin, Spurgeon, Carter, Haula, etc aren't nearly as good as what the Pens have.
So much for the TB facing the worst defensive team in the league. WTF is going on?

Watching Prime Ticket tonight, I had no idea Boudreau was scheduled to fly with Ace Bailey on his same 9/11 flight. Andy Murray essentially saved Boudreau's life. Murray called him 2 days before and had him change his flight to arrive a day earlier for a last minute coaches meeting Murray scheduled (Boudreau was coach of the Monarchs at the time).
• Henrik Lundqvist set an NHL record on Saturday, becoming the first goalie in league history to win 20 games in each of his first 10 seasons.
God damn, really? I mean, I know his dad died, and it's terrible, but it seems odd. Especially after he sat out all of last year. I hope whatever he needs to do he works it out for himself. Just hate to see him go out like this.

Stick tap to Hank, that's pretty impressive. And with both the Caps and Rags playing so well over the past 15 games or so, the rest of the season should prove to be quite the dogfight for that Wildcard spot.
After becoming the Sabres' full-time starting goalie in 1993-94, he went on to lead the league in save percentage six years in a row
•During that six-year run he finished with a save percentage lower than .930 just one time (that would be the 1995-96 season when he only finished with a .920 mark). Those five years at .930 or better represent five of the top-16 individual save percentage performances in recorded league history.
Kings aren't catching the Ducks, we are better off rooting for them to win in regulation against all Western opponents.

The Predators put Mark Arcobello on waivers. Given how some teams are lacking center depth, I wonder if anyone picks him up
That sucks and I do hope everything works out for him for the best. That said, I'm curious what this does to the Bruins cap wise. Do they suspend him and it doesn't count against the cap or does his hit still count?
Hope "Johnny Hockey TM" can handle the heat!
