Unstoppable, best d-core in the league, best top-6 in the league, etc.

Someone on the main board (I know, I keep doing this to myself, lol) actually had the gall to say if they fired Yeo, they would become the Kings 2012. LOL not even close. The Kings had a Vezina level goalie playing the best hockey of his career. They have *checks to see which nobodies are in net* Darcy Kuemper and a 200 year old Niklas Backstron in net. The Kings traded for one of the best pure goal scorers on the planet. I'd love it if they missed the playoffs. How sweet would that be? Gotta channel my inner Muzzinga - Minnesota WiLOLd.

Haven't checked the standings in months. LOL Minnesota Wild. So overrated it's ridiculous.

No but they are SO GOOD they deserve all the Winter classics!!!!

Ever since their owner was all about the lockout but dumped the value of his franchise into signing Suter and Parise, I've been openly rooting for them to fail.

Love the passion of the fans, the state loves its hockey, the arena is gorgeous...but despise the team, ownership, even beat writer.

I can see the Winter Classic now. Yeo flipping out, Harding bursting a blood vessel and breaking a foot while kicking some **** while giving up a Jonathan Quick Mr. Softie, Suter playing 45 minutes, Fletcher making a few trades during the second intermission and signing someone to a 12 year deal, and the Wild losing 1-0. Who wouldn't want to watch that gong show?

I actually despise their fans more than anything else. They were so smug about Vanek and the whole Neidereiter trade it was nauseating. If it weren't for Buffalo and their fans, they would be my #2 hated team behind the Rags.

At least the Wild saved the Isles and Snow from committing to Thomas Vanish. Rather have Kulemin and Grabovski for that money.

NYR sweep California -- three wins in four nights by a combined 11-5

That's pretty impressive and they tend to be a better 2nd half of the season team, which coupled with the Caps playing so much better under Trotz (tied for 3rd/ each wit 52 pts ) and the Isles currently sitting at #1 in the Metro, that race for the top 3 spots should be interesting. And I wonder depending on who is riding the #4 divisin/#9 conference potentially come March will up the stakes and make a trade.

This ceremony has me thinking how awkward next Saturday might be. It might actually be the first jersey retirement ever where more people end up booing the guy than cheering for him.

That would just be a complete embarrassment and shameful if that's what happened. Though I'd say it's a vocal minority who will attempt that. They'll be drowned out by people who have a modicum of class.

I don't think he's gonna get a lot of boos, but I don't think it's going to last an hour like Selanne's.

^ It seriously lasted an hour? LOL. Since when did the Honda Center become the HHOF? I'm not even sure their ceremonies are that long.

They should stay home then. (I know someone will call me out on this - "I paid for the ticket, I'll act like an immature ******* if I want!)

This is a huge deal to Rob. Just respect the guy on a special night. If you don't like him, I get. Don't be a clown though.

I don't think even Gretzky's lasted that long.

Agreed. I could not in good faith cheer for Rob Blake, but would not booo. If I still had my season tickets I would be across the street at LA Live until the ceremony ended.

JVR would be reduced to a checking forward in the Kings system. He would be Trevor Lewis with better hands, less heart/effort/Defense.

Not saying JVR is lazy, it's just that Lewis brings it every shift.
