I think Doan pretty much said that was a cheap shot and he was pissed, but Lucic threatened Weiss and Emelin, that's pretty crappy.

At least Doan didn't throw the hard handshake to each guy. Never seen a guy do that in line before, let alone threaten another guy. Just lame.

Our team is an absolute joke, Johnny Gaudreau is probably our best offensive player, 6 of the 8 defenseman have less than 100 NHL games played and 2 of the goaltenders have never played in the NHL.

Maybe Jesus Gibson can join them after Friday's game.

I don't think it's as shocking, as it's sad. It's sad that a man and his girlfriend can't enjoy a hockey game as visitors, without being violated, emasculated, and abused. But then again, this can happen anywhere, so, I wouldn't single out just the bostonians.

I was being sarcastic and I certainly think all fans, regardless of team and city, are obnoxious (one of many reasons why I don't go to the games). I'm not ignorant to think this only happens in Boston, but Boston has built quite the résumé over the last couple years...

Things i've learned from reading the photoshop threads;
Minnesota fans desperately need someone to notice their team. Not a game goes by that there isn't some mn fan posting a gif saying "somebody please do something with this." Talk about inferiority complex.

Yeah, this is stupid. You could write this vignette in any building in the league. The timing is just wonderful, because Montreal is hyper-focused on Boston's 'class'. I absolutely loathe that now that every idiot has a platform, they feel like they have to share their negative experience at 'x' arena. Hell, look up some Ducks fans on Twitter, they've got worse to write than that. My personal favorite was the PETA-appeal crusade because of the classless "Go Kings" ducks billboards that went up this round, saying the organization teaches fans to be classless and endorses animal abuse...and it wasn't tongue in cheek, it was dead serious. You're going to find *******s in every arena, and delusional, attention-seeking morons that want to bring every negative incident to light while also conveniently leaving out the details. "oh, i was just sitting there minding my own business..."...sure you were. I'm sure not a word came out of your mouth.

Edit: wasn't there a puck daddy writeup like a month ago about something similar happening at the Devils arena before realizing how little credibility the videographer had? Reminds me of the stupid kids that try to set up cops with a hidden camera by being smartasses and resisting arrest then cry foul. /rant

Reeks of being made up to me.

Didn't notice someone pouring a whole beer on his girlfriends head? After the final whistle?

Yeah, don't mind the guy that hung onto a full beer for an entire period of a pivotal game...he was probably just saving it for your girlfriend's head. While you didn't notice. And she didn't say anything. Then everyone walked away while you didn't notice. Then you noticed and she wasn't livid.

Yeah that "full beer" is suspicious. Went to a college Basketball game some years ago. It was SDSU vs UCSB mens basketball.... My friends and I got our SB gear out went to the game at SDSU... SB came back to tie it then won in OT. We were being so obnoxious ... Started getting beers thrown at us (we deserved it), but they were all empty cause at $6 a pop no college student is throwing a full beer.

I think it was game 4, Jay Flats and some guy purported to be a cook chopped up a duck during the 1st period intermission (keep in mind we were down 2-0 at this point).

Besides the timing, which was bad enough, I thought the whole thing was ****ing stupid. Not just stupid, but ****ing stupid. Most fans around me thought the same thing. It's one thing for Cartman to do it on the big screen at the beginning of a game (it's funny and it gets the crowd going), but quite another to do it live with real people and a stupid looking dead duck.

They would have been better off not doing it at all, just dropping the idea. It didn't even rise to the level of "classless." More like...brainless.

I noticed a couple (way more then a couple) of nearly full beers hitting the ice after Bruins lost.

I wouldn't take my wife to that game wearing Habs colors. Hell, I was in a bar watching in Providence and I made darn sure I was supporting the Bruins (even if I was rocking Kings colors).

More hogwash hypocrisy from the media

There are examples of rowdy classless fans in every packed home game (in any sport).

Between Montreal, Winnipeg, and Toronto I'm sure no drunk fans ever heckled or verbally abused visiting fans.

But lucic does need a tongue lashing as his actions were classless. What's funny is that Doan didn't get the equal amount of bashing when he practically did the same thing with brown.

Why do you hate the Bruins so much?

Why is water wet?
Why is the sky blue?
Why do birds fly?
Why am I enamored with yoga pants?

Because.

Seriously though, there aren'y many teams that I hate, but the Bruins are definitely on that list. Where should I start? Boston sports fans are insufferable and so is Boston media. I know a bunch of Bruin fans are they are so disgustingly arrogant I can't even put it into words. Now don't think I'm generalizing Bruin fans as a whole because I have also met a few good ones and I know they do exist, but in terms of daily interaction I can't stand them. The Bruins somehow are allowed to be dirty because that's "Bruins hockey", meanwhile, the Kings have a couple borderline hits and suddenly they're the second coming of the Third Reich. What else? Well they have a ton of very unlikeable players. From the Nostril nasal spray duo (Marchand and Lucic) to the living weasel that is Shawn Thornton or the underrated dirty giant that is Chara, they are legitimately dirty.

Sounds exaggerated. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if the shoving and punching was true. There was a video of that one dude being shoved by Bruins fans in the restroom.
