The Habs deserved it, they were the better team. Price and Subban were beastly. And the Bruins seem to read too much of their own press and the media fawning on them. They didn't seem to want it bad enough.

I hate the Bruins so much. I've really grown to like Price this year though. I was pretty meh on him, but he's growing into an elite goalie. He seems like a really good kid too.

I like the Bruins, but I enjoyed seeing the Habs win. It's nice to see a different team make it to the ECF.

I think Montreal is going to beat New York handily.

Marchand and Krejci with 0 goals in the playoffs? They combined for 23 when the Bruins won the Cup. They combined for 13 last year. It's crazy when you only get 1 total goal through 2 rounds of the playoffs from Crosby, Marchand, and Krejci.

Doan has the "good old Canadian boy" image down with fans and media around the league, just like Ryan Smyth, they are (were) two of the biggest ******** in the league but they were like teflon with the media who refused to ever call them out on anything.

Lucic has no such image, maybe it's because he has tormented Canadian teams in the playoffs in years past (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver), maybe it's because he doesn't try and be a fake nice guy like the other two guys, who knows. Not defending him, but your're right, it is funny how much bigger a deal this was than the Doan one.

This is much more different because Lucic threatened multiple people, and said he'd kill Weise.

Doan might have called brown and dirty piece of ****. Stuff like that.

That bear will be playing golf next week, while the midgets are still playing hockey. I'd prefer the latter to the former.
Probably just heat of the moment stuff from Lucic. But if he does try to seriously injure these guys next year, I hope he gets a long suspension from the league. Next time, when you call your shot, make sure it's something like "I guarantee that we'll win the next game" and not "I'm going kill you".
