Anyone hoping for a Mtl vs NYI finals, who isn’t a hometown fan, must have no true appetite for creative hockey plays and love will over skill. If that’s the final, I may not watch a game unless it goes 5-7 matches deep.

Or we just hate Vegas and Tampa more.

Keeping a fan base I loathe from winning a Cup is far more important than the entertainment value of one SCF. Maybe next year's SCF can be exciting but the Cup win is forever.

I don't want Vegas to win one. Ever. I don't want Tampa Bay to have three and especially not back-to-back. Those fans just got a Super Bowl too so they can take a little break from winning.

Stan Bowman should be fired. Seems like the Blackhawks and league are trying really hard to sweep this under the rug and hope that nobody sees this. It's also appalling how this isn't being widely reported in other media outlets.

If Arizona had to forfeit picks for scouting infractions what can the league do with something like this. If it is true the league and the hawks need to be better.

I don't know about that, the Arizona thing had to do with violating rules, this is vastly different. They sure as hell should be paying a heavy fine and making a large donation to groups that support victims of sexual abuse. Completely disgusting behavior that they enabled by doing nothing about it.

absolutley. If I am the parents of the 17 yr old who was assualted after the Hawks let him go, an recommended him for that job, I'd sue. Bowman and every other nitwit who is still on staff and knew, ought to be held responsible.

This ...should have gotten all of them fired.

There was a lot more attention when a coach used the n-word on Akim Aliu. Of course, that's unacceptable, too. It's just that the personnel to dig into these stories are there.

that is an interesting comparison. What's being reporting with Chicago is more timely than that occurrence and the players asked from something to be done at the time.

Actually the Hawks are doing something about it, they've put Bobby Hull in charge of the investigation.
