JR whining about the non calls at the end of the 3rd is just embarrassing. He knows it's playoff hockey and neither was going to be called, especially the punch he kept bring up.

What's Manson about 6'3, 220lbs? Guy went down so easy from a 2 hand push. Wasn't even a cross check. It was a push. That same play happens 100 times a game.

I said the same thing in the mainboard GDT. Hell, Beiska threw Neil into the boards in the first and nothing was called.

really bizarre, he kept bringing that punch up but ignored how it was brought on by lindholm crosschecking arvidsson when arvidsson was standing there with his hands at his side assuming the play was dead

besides it was hardly even a punch, he basically pushed lindholm in the chest and grazed the side of his face

Murray in, FLeury out

Renaud Lavoie‏ @renlavoietva

Matt Murray first out this morning. Had his own net at practice. He will face the @senators tonight. Marc-André Fleury doing extra.

Ry Jo is out for the rest of the playoffs. The Ducks are the actual team of destiny in this run.

Saw that coming a mile away.

I know people were comparing NSH to the 2012 Kings, but it is the Ducks that are hitting like the Kings cups teams did.

Sekera getting taken out was huge. Now you have an even bigger injury.

It's all wrapped up for them. But lets not kid ourselves here: they were winning this whole thing the moment they won a game they were losing by three goals with three minutes left.

Yeah... I think the Ducks are winnings it, too. They went into the playoffs going like 14-0-2. It's always the hottest teams going into the playoffs that wins. I thought Nashville could knock them off. But that's too many injuries. They may lost their top 2 centers in one game!

Everything is falling into place for the Ducks. Three teams in a row without deep Playoff experience and the Final will be against a heavily depleted and tired Pens team or another club with very little Playoff experience. The WCF is the Stanley Cup Final. It's literally the easiest run to the Cup the Ducks could have possibly had. Not a single real challenging opponent. Even before RyJo's injury, the Preds came out so flat yesterday. It was embarrassing to watch. They were beyond lucky to get to OT. I still can't get over how ****ing awful that 5 on 3 was. It was Kings level bad.

What? There's a good chance Ottawa beats Pits here. How do you figure? Ottawa has been doing fairly well so far...

I said Pitt is tired and depleted and Ottawa is another inexperienced Playoff team, so it doesn't matter who wins the East. Whoever comes out of the West wins the Cup and the Ducks are going to win. Preds are in deep trouble now with their 1C out.

Ducks have the best Center depth left in the playoff's.

Pitt has a hurt Crosby, and Malkin is showing some fatigue.

The one constant you see with just about every Cup winning team is center depth and contribution from all lines. Whoever gets that is usually the team that ends up with the Cup. You could go back to the dynasty teams like Montreal, the Islanders and Oilers, the 90s Penguins, the Avs, Wings, Stars, etc. They pretty much all had two #1 centers, as did the Kings with Kopitar and Carter.

If only they could get Kopitar to play like one again...

There's a revolving door of players going in and out of the Sens lockeroom. Anaheim looks like the clear winner since all the other teams look more banged up

Let's hope our new coach helps him find that guy again.

Should it somehow happen, we can rag on them for having not had to play anyone tough to win it. I'm still not convinced they will do it.

Has anyone ever seen as much passive agresseive bs coming from duck fans after the rjo injury?
Are they so pissed that la won 2 cups before they did that they are rejoicing to god that he got injured?
You know i am from la and i have no hate for any other teams that have come into so cal after the originals, but because of the ducks fans attitudes, i absolutely hate the ducks, and it doesnt help that they are to a man starting with getzlaugh and then perry kessler etc, are a bunch of cheap shot taking goons. I hope they arent rewarded with another cup.

It doesn't matter. Even if they get the 2nd Cup, they're still 0-1 vs the Kings in the playoffs and the Kings won the cup in the same year. ;)
