Well he's clearly the only player on the ice for the Senators according to the 5 threads about him on the main board. Apparently he is also now "King Karlsson". Good times.
"We played well every game, we played well enough to win." - Lundqvist
I HATE excuses like that. If you play well enough to win, you win. If you don't win, you didn't play well enough to win. Garbage.
Don't mind at all hearing it when it's true. He's been nothing short of amazing.
Ottawa’s players say the precise and exacting Boucher instilled the right dynamic from the first day of training camp. The work ethic Boucher established has carried over into springtime for a franchise that has not advanced past the second round since the 2007 finals against the Anaheim Ducks.
“Everyone when we go out there is relentless; everyone wants to win,†Pageau said. “We found a way to win, and it’s when we trust our system and when we play in it. As players, we really respect and have bought into his system.â€
The streak must go on!

Watching the Caps beat the Pens would be just like watching the Kings beat the Hawks in 2014
and playing with 2 fractures in his foot.
But it wasn't just in the playoffs, I saw a big change in his game this year and I'd say Boucher had a lot to do with that. He's a much more complete player. I've seen a coach do that before (Babcock does that too) If Andersen didn't lose time this year due to the horrible ordeal with his wife's cancer, they'd have probably netted more points. All in all, adjusting to a new coach /system isn't easy. And he's got them playing well, winning shifts and driving into the ECF. That's pretty good in your first year. When he was hired last summer, he mentioned how much he learned in Europe and was going to implement that into his system.
This is a pretty good article on him and the Sens

I think Boucher deserves a ton of credit. He's got Bobby Ryan laying down blocking shots.
For sure.
And on top of that, when your captain is playing with broken bones, how much of a turd would you be to not put out your maximum effort?
Give Boucher credit for the xs-and-os and the keys to the ignition, give Karlsson the credit for the leadership by example.
LOL, there's more than "getting shots through" that Karlsson does well. Please, let's try not to sound exactly like those bitter Sens fans years ago when they downplayed Doughty's performance.
Doughty's go to move, besides his big wind up that tends to get blocked, is to blindly throw the puck at the net along the goal line.
Karlsson is carrying the Sens. I think Doughty can do more to demonstrate his abilities, but try to give some credit where it's due, Karlsson is among the best players in the world, and his performance this season is a significant reason why the Sens are in the Conference Finals.
“Here’s the last thing I’ll say: what the Devils believe is their best chance of compensation – in terms of a match with another team – may not necessarily at the end of the day overlap with what Jay Grossman and Ilya Kovalchuk find is the best destination.
“So this’ll be interesting, trying to marry those two moons in terms of what the Devils want and what Jay Grossman and Ilya Kovalchuk want.â€

Doughty was dominant in both cup runs and is also among the best in the world.
Hmm... I seem to recall injuries being used as a crutch for Kopitar's pisspoor effort.

Complete non-sequitur just to crap on Kopitar. Nice.
Because Buffalo is possibly the best hockey market in the US and half of the city will watch it and Jack Eichel.
