Game 1 of sharks and knights makes me feel ok about the playoffs and that we are headed in the right direction.

The Kings have up 7 goals in the whole series to Vegas and Vegas already has 7 in 1 game:vhappy::towel:

Maybe we can finally put to rest the bollocks narrative that the Golden Knights aren't a very good team. Consistently were one of the best offensive and defensive teams in the league all season. Tons of depth, great work ethic and incredibly hungry, very disciplined, got great goaltending all year, and Gallant is a fantastic coach. This team is the real deal and I enjoyed them railroading the Sharks tonight. They can go all the way.

Sharks sweep of the Ducks doesn't impress me, the Ducks aren't very good.

I't will be interesting to see if Deboer can figure Vegas out or not. If he does, will Stevens lose any credibility as a coach??

Yes.

Deboer needs to make adjustments, or this will be another short series. Vegas was skating through the Sharks’ halfass trap like a knife through butter. Almost all their early goals came on clean entries and splitting the D. Sharks were embarrassed defensively tonight.

I wasn’t impressed with Stevens at all last series, but at least the Kings played the Knights’ tighter with entries and through the neutral zone. Knights did not have this kind of room.
