never forget McDonagh > Doughty, Rangers D >>>>> Kings D, Stepan is better than Kopitar long term, and save percentage is the only measure of good goaltending except when Quick's is higher than Hank's in the finals.

Fun to watch every single one of those guys crap themselves on the big stage and on this trip.

Well, according to them, I guess the last time their defense was any good aka "best in the league" (search function is awesome to read their delusion at the time) was the ECF in 2014. Then magically their defense sucked the following series and has sucked ever since. Of course, the Kings are good at exposing weaknesses over a 7 game series. Exposed their lack of offensive firepower, exposed their awesome 1 through 6 defensemen and exposed their "massive advantage in goal". Seriously, re-read those series threads, people. They are hilarious.

Detroit will never miss the playoffs.

And still won't do anything but knocked out in the 1st.

2 terrible calls didn't help Florida tonight either. Abdelkaters dive then the week ass penalty right at the end of the 2nd. That 2nd penalty was just like we see when we play the Cryotes. Push a small player as he makes a turn and he falls down, ref assumes its a trip.

Not that I want Anaheim or SJ to continue racking up points, but it's pretty badass that these great teams keep coming to California and leaving with very little/nothing at all.

Yep. Thats 12 goals against Mr. All World King Hank has given up in his last 3 starts. Did he cry about something after this game too?

No he didn't cry , he said he'd have to be better. If not for him, it would have over long before the 3rd period.
Rangers gave up 52 shots on goal, 37 thru 2 periods, and it was still 1-1.
He was the only reason they were still in it...

Perron and Perreault out of the game. I'd bench Perry and Pirri immediately.

Commonwealth Ghoul's injury looked particularly bad, like a separated shoulder or busted collarbone. I couldn't watch it a third time without my shoulder acting up, heh.

this season i follow the ducks a bit more. just because of lak's loses against them them. i tell you something, they're nothing special. lak should find a way through them.

If you've been watching them with regularity, you can see what I've been seeing--LA is their Stanley Cup. Their effort in our games is astronomical compared to their night in and night out games.

I think they're special, but more than that, they're built to beat us and they're pissed.

i've memorized those words of wisdom of yours since the last time we've talked, and i agree 100%. they're a funny team :)

They definitely have the "it" factor. They scare me more than any other team, including the Caps, tbh. I'm hoping our elite coaching and improved forward depth (namely Gabby coming back, but also Versteeg) can counter balance their amazing d and fwd depth. Plus their goaltending can rise to elite levels, like ours. We know Quick is big time, and Gibson isn't (up to this point), so I take some (small) solace in that.

It's a scary ass match up.
