I don't think we are necessarily softer, but I have noticed the Kings have tone down the hits. Everything the Kings do this season results in a penalty.

Only reason I care is I think it's a much easier route to win in the playoffs winning the division. Even though it means having to play a central team and makes travel worse. Having to play San Jose and Anaheim back to back in the first two rounds will be punishing.
You just have to wonder when they will come back down to earth. They are playing at an unsustainable rate for sure. It does now balance how bad they started the season. But .833 over the past 30 games.

don't need to fight to be physical, but yes he has been in two. Oct 18th vs Colorado (skille), and Dec 28 vs Vancouver (Pedan)
