He's echoing what the fans of both teams were saying. 8:45PM local time on a weeknight is too damn late to start a hockey game. School night, work night, etc.
 
The other day when the Ducks were down 2 games to nothing to the Preds, I felt a little bad at the thought of the Ducks losing so quickly. I take it back. I take it back!
 
the game starts late to maximize TV revenues, TV revenues help increase the cap, the hawks need cap space more than most teams, hawks fans ***** about games being late.

I don't know seems stupid to me. It's late but it's helping the team in the long run so team, fan and TV personalities need to shut it...at this point I think only the refs have a right to *****

I felt bad for the Preds because of their false hope. I still hope they can pull it off though.

Here's the problem with that assumption - it's wrong.

Ratings in Chicago and St. Louis are down vs. earlier start times, and they got worse as the night dragged on because people went to bed.
 
Well, Blues fans are long suffering and Chicago was ripe for the plucking.

Could of started at 10PM and still had good numbers in St. Louis.

If Chicago's went down, that's just the bandwagon tossing a wheel much like resale prices for tonight's game as the LA bandwagon is shaky now.
 
Williams wants a game 7, he got 4 minor penalties and the game isn't over yet.

How do you feel sorry for a team that just stopped showing up? Their effort in the last two games has been brutal.

It will be Ducks vs. Blues (outside shot for Hawks) in the WCF. Ducks will beat SJ because their pk can slow down the SJ pp but SJ won't be able to stop the Ducks pp. Besides, beating the Kings will feel like winning the cup for SJ.

Penguins have 2-3 rookies at forward and one rookie on d.

Kings should take a page out of this book.

Guys like Dowd, Mersch, and Andreoff should be thrown in the mix over Brown, King, Versteeg, etc.

That's what I'm hoping we see. Pens look energized and are playing at a much better pace thanks to having a rejuvenated lineup.

Are you sure? Rangers are even worse than the kings. By far the worst performance in this playoffs.
 
I don't think that Flyers can win another game with eleven shots on goal. Neuvirth bailed them out in two games in a row.
 
I can't wait to read all the posts questioning Lundqvist's performance this year. Gets pulled in two games. Had a whopping .770 today.

The really funny thing will be the backpedaling on the "Quick was awful, look at his save percentage this series" by Rangers fans to "well, save percentage isn't everything..." just like the 2014 finals.
