I think Bob Murray has done an admirable job considering he works under a self imposed cap. Many good players have been drafted under him as well. Next year is going to be interesting for Ducks, I think a few of their talented younger players won't be coming back.

Those young guys all need to be paid, and they just don't have the budget to do it. Rickell, Lindholm,Vatenan and Andersen all need new deals, and they won't be cheap.

The thing about firing Boudreau is... who replaces him? Do you bring back Carlyle? Turn the reins over to MacLean? There isn't one of those "identity" types out there. Don't get me wrong, I think ultimately BB had to go because the only other option would be to gut the core. Usually a successful team will already have a replacement in mind, but Anaheim hasn't indicated that at all.

Isn't Eakins coaching the SD Gulls?

Eakins is a really good coach. It just looked bad because his first job was the Oilers. Please, for a Kings fan, make this happen. :naughty:

Someone sent a black cat out on the ice during the SJ warm ups.

I didn't see the Kings once do what the Preds did on that pp goal. Find the open man at the dots for a one timer.

That's because the Kings are dead set on having all of their shots directed from the points, and thus have a high probability of missing the net or having their shots get blocked.

Like we kept saying after every game, this team was just so predictable and it was one of the few instances where Sutter showed how stubborn he can be. The Kings were so badly outcoached.

Kings would have lost to the Preds, need to shore up the defense in the off-season.

Especially in games 4 and 5. Nothing to lose in game 5, yet we had the same approach as we did in game 4 and it was bad.

It's funny how the announcers have said SJ wasn't very good at faceoffs in the series against us, yet they score 3 goals right after winning a clean draw that helped them win the series.

I think either Dallas or St Louis would give them a run for their money. Dallas plays a similar game to the Sharks even and St Louis is doing what the Kings normally do but better this year.

It's nice that it's being noticed outside Anaheim fan-base. Imagine recent cup winners and contenders with 6-10 millions less to work with every season.
