Predators outscored 8 goals to 0 (each 4-0 losses) in a back-to-back on the road.

Ouch.

Yes they are. It's almost like it's too easy. Moulson got burned so bad on that last goal. The strange thing is, they've only played a few games in their division and have feasted off the east.

I secretly want the Sabres to do well especially Eichel. McDavid fans are drilling Eichel. Man I want this guy to beast just to shut these McJesus fans up. Unfortunately McDavids the real deal and Eichel plays on a sorry team.

Ducks shut out and give up 5 goals.

They gave up 4 goals per game for 3 or 4 games in a row before their last win....
Still waiting for them to bounce back?

Okay, I'm going to start trolling the Ducks' FGOTG thread and post "shutout" every game.

RP would have likely already done this. :) :(

I was watching the Sharks-Penguins. What a joke of a Conference that is (East).

San Jose didnt even try and when they did, they scored.

Kings and a scoreless Kopitar would beat any team over there in a 7 game series, with exception of Detroit, NY and Tampa.

Waiver claims

Boston claims Landon Ferraro off Waivers
Preds claim Petter Granberg,

ON Travis Hamonic , I heard Elliotte Friedman talking about this yesterday and I think he's right in that a 3 way trade might have to be done due to Hamonic's short list .

I'm not really an Isles fan, but something about this whole Hamonic thing really pisses me off. It just doesn't seem right. What's the difference where you are playing if you have ****ing family issues? Those issues are still going to be there no matter where you play. And you are on the ****ing road half the season anyway, so how does a trade to a "western Canadian team" help your location in terms of assisting the family member that ostensibly needs assistance? How does playing in Winnipeg or Vancouver (they are over 1,400 miles from each other) make it any easier?

If I were the Islanders, I'd say **** it. You signed a contract, now live up to your obligation. This is total bull ****.

I, on the other hand, feel less strongly about the current topic. Please, pass the gravy.

I know a few people on this forum are still fans, so I thought I'd shoot you all the update.

Canadiens Montréal ‏@CanadiensMTL 4h4 hours ago
Canadiens recalled forward Bud Holloway from the St. John's Icecaps this morning.

“I’m 27 and I finally got the call up, so I am obviously pretty ecstatic to be here right now,” expressed Holloway, who was noticeably excited about being called up to the NHL for the first time in his career. “This is the first time the phone ever rang! I got called into the office and they said you are on the 5am flight in the morning. It was pretty shocking just the way it all happened so fast. Going out and calling my dad, that was a pretty proud moment.”

Hamonic is from 10 minutes outside Winnipeg.

I've heard he wants to go to Winnipeg, not any of the others. The leak might have expanded to "western canada" to help the Islanders to say their hands aren't as tied as they actually are. But Winnipeg doesn't really have room for him.

And I am friends with a bunch of his friends. Well acquaintances, guys I played with years ago. I am going to try to touch base and see what I can find out about it. Hamonic the few times that I've met him has seemed like an...interesting fellow. Little off. Not bad at all, just different. He's friends are a little like that as well.

Thanks for the update. It would be interesting to see what is motivating all this.

And it does make sense that he just really wants to go to one team. It really makes no sense to me at all that he considers Vancouver and Winnipeg in the same sentence, given the distance between the two cities.

The Sharks are about to play, but as of now we're completely even through all of these tie-breaking procedures:

Tie-Breaking procedure
If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:

1 The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2 The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout. This figure is reflected in the ROW column.
3 The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4 The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season. NOTE: In standings a victory in a shootout counts as one goal for, while a shootout loss counts as one goal against.

1. Both with 20 games each
2. Both with 11 ROWs each
3. Same points earned; have played an equal number of home games against each other.
4. Both have +6 Goal Differential

NHL.com has Kings still in first, ESPN has Sharks in first. Either way, it'll be clarified in a few hours when the Sharks game is over.
