To be fair to the Blues, they are missing some key guys. That being said, they've failed with their full compliment of players in the past numerous times, so show me state and all that.

Yup. That sums things up pretty nicely and extremely accurately.
Outshot 19-2 in the 1st...neuvirth and Laughton the only players who showed up.
0-5 w/o Couturier...and it shows. Fowards are very lazy and careless , losing most battles, turning pucks over, shift in , shift out. Defensemen? What's that?

Signing a college coach with Zero professional experience to a 5 yr 10 M deal- mistake. He is continually perplexed that his 'system' isn't working when he doesn't have high speed/talented young players recruited to suit it.

Hopefully Auston Matthews likes the color orange.

Yeah, he'll look great in an Oilers jersey.

It's the Colton Parayko show (2A so far!).

Geez, don't they play defense in the Central?

Just in terms of how this little three-day Round Robin tourney plays out (Kings-Hawks, Kings-Blues, Blues-Hawks), we kinda need Parayko to score the game winner.

All this being said, I would take Steen on the Kings any day. The guy would be a perfect fit for the Kings.

Just to remind St. Louis fans...

Under Hitchcock

10-17 playoff record
1 playoff series win (over Joe Thornton lead Sharks)
Blew 2-0 series leads back to back years. Losing 4 in a row both years
Lost Game 5 at home in 2-2 series three straight years

Their playoff ineptness resume rivals the Sharks.

I'm so glad we didn't get these guys announcing our game. McGuire wouldn't have shut up about the greatness of Terasenko for 60 minutes.

In contrast Kings under Sutter:

Playoff Series Record: 10-1
Playoff Games: 41-20
Reversed Sweep of the Sharks
Two Stanley Cups in four seasons

Enjoyed seeing the Blackhawks freeze the pucks those last 20 seconds so they can salvage one point out of this joke of a game.

Probably will get two anyway.
