Agreed, Gallagher had extended himself, Byfuglien went for the puck first, didn't really deliver a flying elbow like some delusional Habs fans believe he did.

If Kane did what he is accused of it is worse than Voynov. Rape, and battery, is a more serious crime than battery in my book. So to me there is a difference. Now I don't know most of the facts in the Kane case. Drew was accused of rape as well and when the facts came out he was not charged. But I stand by my opinion that rape is one of the worst crimes out there.

I don't think you'll find many that will disagree, but it's 'if' vs 'did' at this point, and nothing new has come out that would suggest anything has changed, so it's honestly petty and frankly kind of insulting to bring it up after a loss.

I think the complaint is that Voynov was suspended when it was still an if. Kane is accused of worse but his if is treated different.

Oh for sure, I made that argument myself way back when the preseason started. I just think bringing it up now is bad timing.

Because Voynov was arrested and Kane wasn't. What "if" was left to the imagination in regards to Voynov beating his wife? Did she beat herself up? It was pretty damn obvious and evident that Voynov was the culprit from the day the news came out and he was arrested.

A completely different matter with Kane. There is absolutely no evidence of rape given the DNA results turning up negative and her attorneys having nothing on Kane. No charges will be made and this won't even go to trial.

It is baffling to me that some people can't tell the difference between both cases.

I am not getting into this again, but most peoples complaint is that Voynov sat for a month before charges were brought, so it isn't as though circumstance were completely different in regards to charges etc.

I have no problem with the way it is being handle given the gong show it has turned out to be, and what became of Voynov.
