Montreal's simply not a very talented team. Outside of a few very good players, there's a huge drop off. Their offense is horrendous.

hey i'm in that boat...my 27 plus years following the team, is perfectly acceptable!
this they have no offensive depth. Really tells a person how far Semin has fallen that he could not make that lineup.
Gallagher and Galchenyuk I think are good young players, but they have a ways to go to develop and have consistency that is needed.
Right now though they have too many meh players

dale weise to be your first or second line winger
Markov to be a #2 Dman
Plekanec/Galy/desharnais to be center depth
...you are not a cup contender

PK good ( call me crazy, i still rank about 7-10 dman ahead of him)

Your....completely sane. PK is vastly overrated. I have him on the same level as a Dustin Byfuglien and Brent Burns. Great players, #1 defensemen for sure, but not on the elite level like a Drew Doughty.
Agree with this.
I think PK is in the 7 range..definitely top 10, but I coudl understand a case where he is higher and lower.

Yup. I'm 30 now, was 8 when they started broadcasting Kings games in Vegas in 1993. Haven't looked back since. Without Gretzky, that would have never happened.

Nice hearing Pat Foley call a national game (although odd that it's basically the Hawks guys doing the game). I just tuned in and all they've been talking about is the Blackhawks fir the last 5 minutes.

Funny how it's so obvious that the Habs bought in to the Carey Price is our Savior BS and now they can't even function as a team without him. They are not THIS bad but between the ears they've convinced themselves they are incapable of competing without Price.

LOL. He's an acquired taste for sure. I grew up watching Hawks games so I've gotten used to it. Probably the same way people got used to Doc Emrick whose voice annoys the hell out of me.
