Thanks for posting this. I think someone recently posted that the Kings record against the Central Division is 6-1. That would make the rest of the Pacific 3-25-5 against the Central.

That is complete domination.

Those records were without the Kings included.

No way, according to the mainboard, it's Karlsson and everyone else is a distant second.

Well, by definition of what the award is, "most valuable to his team", Karlsson is probably the true MVP. I can't think of a team that would be in worse shape if they lost a player than they would be if he got hurt.

But usually it's just awarded to the best player, and the best player this season has been Kane.

Totally agree. For what he had to deal with to start the season, it's remarkable he's probably had his best year even with a major distraction like that. I'd also put Benn in there too. The guys been nails for the Stars.

I can't root for Kane because he is such a terrible human being.

He's one of top players in the league but I agree, he's white trash off the ice.

FIFY.

LOL yeah was looking good for a while oh well. But still a pretty impressive streak.

Well, he must be the only one scoring because that team is floundering right now. 2-2-2 in their last six, 4-3-3 in their last ten.

.

I think he was on the ice for 3 of the 4 goals against his team last night.

So? Duncan Keith was on the ice for 3 goals last night as well.

I still believe that he is more important to his team than anyone else. It has to be him or Carey Price, right?

I'd feel more comfortable with Karlsson getting an MVP award than the Norris to be honest. The gap between him and his teammates is astounding.

Definitely not Price--he's been out and the team is proving they're hot without him this year. Kane, Karlsson, Benn, Lundqvist making huge cases right now.

agree, i'd sooner give the Hart to Karlsson than Norris

Oilers going for their 5th straight win tonight vs the Rangers. S Hould be a good game. And if they win, depending on the outcome of the Ducks (vs Canes) and Yotes (Vs Wild) games, they could be tied for 4th in the Pacific.

A large part of that is the continued impressive play by Leon Draisaitl, who has 22 pts in the 19 games he's played and has been very strong in every zone and really showing why he's a top center in the making, he's really playing well . At at 20, he'll develop more physically and his skating is already improving since coming up. It will give the Oilers more room to move RNH for a d man, McDavid and Draisaitl will be fine down the middle.
Just think if McDavid hadn't been injured and out this long ,how many more games /points the Oilers might have.

Top 10 points contributors to their teams success

Kane is 1st w/ 55% of the Hawks scoring.
Giroux, Malkin , D Sedin are 3 thru 5

And coming in 2nd in the NHL is Mike Cammallari whose 30 points represent over 43% of the Devils scoring.
