I like Jones for RyJo for each team.

For Nash, it was either RyJo or Nuge basically. I'd take RyJo.

For CLB, Jones is a nice get, but now they have a giant whole in middle of their lineup. They need to do something about it or they will quickly become the next Nashville with Jones/Murray/Wereinski.

Edm, as always holding on to their "assets". Starts to up their play for Hamonic I assume.

I know Lumbus needed D, but christ are they bad at managing assets. That's another good center that slips through their cracks along with losing Brassard, Anisimov, and Carter. Brutal.

Even Hayward said the Ducks deserved more penalties tonight, given their undisciplined play. If he admits to that, you know it had to be bad.

If they end up with Matthews, they'll be fine with sending Johansen away. Lottery odds aren't what they used to be. Thanks Edmonton.

I disagree. The guy is a diva and by all accounts, has always done only what he wants. Numerous insiders have stated he beats to his own drum. Jarmo took a player that he had no leverage on and flipped him for one of the most promising young defenseman in the league. This baggage has been on display for over a year. I think both teams got exactly what they needed, but I love this for Columbus. If I was a Columbus fan I'd be ecstatic.

I posted this on the Ducks board and I'll say it here as well. Our best scoring chance all night was a breakaway from Kevin Bieksa. That pretty much sums up how bad we were.

He really is, starting with his demands during his last contract. Lumbus got rid of the headache he's become, got a franchise D man with no baggage. Good luck with that next contact Preds.

Nashville has 2 castaways in Johansen and Hodgson, both aren't living up to their potential.

I always thought Cody would make an awesome Cabbage Patch Kid.

Nashville has been looking for that 1C forever. They couldn't even lure Spezza to Nashville. Johansen is a giant risk but no doubt talented and has the potential to be exactly that.

Avs have the worst announcers, in my opinion. I can't stand any of their broadcasts.

I'm guessing you haven't listened to Bruin or Pen announcers, who are most definitely sewer-water treading when it comes to PBP/color. Those guys are absolutely pathetic.

anyone watch the Ducks game tonight? they looked like ****ing beer leaguers

The post-game is cracking me up. They have a total of 1 fan backing the host announcers, and the kid is about 9 years old!!

I can't remember the last time the Kings had a meltdown when they lost 5-0. That's the difference between champions and pretenders.

There is no leadership on that roster. Just a team full of hot heads and pretenders.

Other than the Perry-Bernier encounter, I don't see anything that resembled a meltdown in the way you're talking about (Bernier just stated that he sold it on the second cross check).

Yeah, they played like absolute horse ****. Not denying that. I prefer what they did tonight over what they did for the first 3 months of the season which was playing dump and chase for 60 minutes and not even pretending to care about the outcome of the game.

Bernier should keep his mouth shut.

Anyway, I agree. A bad, undisciplined game. Kind of uncharacteristic, but then again, the Ducks season has been uncharacteristic. It's hard to believe with how bad they have played that they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but that's the Pathetic Division for you.

If Gibson is out for any length of time, that's going to make it all the much harder for the Ducks to move forward.
